What do you think of your fellow members who don't abide to the rules and just copy off somebody else's reviews? Do you feel like they're cheaters or do you tolerate them?I hate them a lot. They completely destroy the essence of those websites and they ruin other people's reputations by posting nasty remarks when they get criticized. I don't understand them at all. | Someone copied/stole my discussion!!! | | Okay, someone copied my discussion here in myLot!!! It's on another website though and the "copier" is not from myLot...Or I'm not quite so sure about that! Here's what happened:I was browsing through the internet for reviews about atsiam.com. I've actually posted a separated discussion here in myLot a few days ago asking the Lotters if someone has booked with atsiam.com to see if their service is good or not. So anyway, as I mentioned I was browsing just a moment ago if there are other sites that have reviews about atsiam.com. I googled "atsiam.com booking good". Naturally, I saw my myLot post being populated by google search results. What I didn't expect is that populated in the list before mine was my[b]exactly[/b] the same post but on a different website! I clicked on the site and saw[b]my[/b] myLot discussion being posted by[i]another[/i] person on[i]another[/i] website[b]every single word of it[/b] without even trying to paraphrase it or something! I don't know but I felt like I was being robbed or something! What I hate though is that I don't know if I should feel that way. I mean, am I just overreacting? | | Who uses Ciao.com? | | For those that have not heard of Ciao.com it is a place where you write reviews and get paid for it. So who uses it? I just started last week and I guess I'm doing OK. I have made 20$ up till now and not sure if that is good. Have added loads of friends on it and people in my circle of trust. But trying to find ways to make even more money through it. | Compareby does pay! | | I received my pay from comparedby today and it was the exact amount I requested. It took them awhile to actually get my status figured out but I am set to go on to the next month. I have no idea why there are these people out there who are copying and they say they are not when of course they know. So they do not get payed and they get kicked off. So they start yelling it is a scam. Well that is not right all because they are trying to get rid of the scammers? I mean I have a friend who has excellent reviews but she is still stuck as a rookie because all of these people who copy and do things that they are not suppose to do think that is fair?I mean she has been patiently awaiting when they will tell her everything is good, but it has been weeks. So I am happy that they paid because it definitely will come in handy when the time comes for me to need that money. Plus I worked my butt off for it. As well as my friend, so why is she being punished? | | Ciao: Holy Dopplegangers, Batman! | | Ok, so we all know that a lot of people copy reviews from different sites, and then simply paste them in Ciao. But what I just experienced is ridiculous!Not one, but THREE people, copied my "Beowulf & Grendel" review from Ciao, and pasted into... well, Ciao! Are you freaking kidding me?!They didn't even take the time to change the advantages and disadvantages, to at least hide it a bit better. How stupid can you get?, this is just hilarious. Now I'll have to find out how to report such things, I really never thought this would happen to me.Has anyone else here experienced such an idiotic behavior at Ciao? | sad at ciao today | | I feel a bit sad and annoyed at ciao today...this decrease my desire to do my regular rating to my friends' reviews. I received PM from one of my friend saying that 'i have been loyal and active toward you and expect the same toward you' and even the previous days also she send some PM and one of it said ' please co-operate '. So i checked on her and found that she only rate me once and no comment, i remember...did more than that to her. Most of her PM sound like forcing me to visit her reviews. And i hate thing like that...I don't mind friends who PM me with reminder to their new reviews but i couldn't tolerate forceful PM (PM me 3 times per day). | |
