Talk about what products you can use that are good for your planet!| Wow, my parents don't have AC | | This is rough. My parents dont have AC. Now granted it doesn't get especially HOT here and pretty much no one around here has it, but it is warm and i'm pretty uncomfortable in the house. I am sweating big time! yuck! They have windows open and ceiling fans, but I dont know, it isn't the same. At my home the central AC is set at 72..buurrr. I will probably be cold once I go home.

| | Have you ever woke up with a swollen eye? | | A couple weeks ago, I woke up with a really
sore eye. I didn't think anything
about it, at first.But, it hurt so much when I blinked.
Finally, I looked in the mirror and
saw that my lower eye lid was swollen
just a little bit.The swelling started just a day after I cleaned
out my central ac filter and then ran the fan.I guess there were irritants blowing around in
the air and that caused an allergic reaction in my eye.
Or, maybe some type of infection.Since then, I haven't turned the fan on, again.The swelling got worse and worse and lasted for about
three days.It's gone now! Thankfully. But, it was really scary.Have you ever woken up with a swollen eye or had

| | How much money do you spend on your electric bill for summer versus winter? | | During the summer time our electric power bill goes
up to $150 or more.Some of my friends have said that they spend up to
$300 every month on electricity. And I don't doubt it!
The only reason that we skate by with such a big savings
is that we don't have central ac, so instead use
window air conditioners.One of our newest window AC units only costs $46 yearly to use!There's no way to ever cut off the AC during the summer time,
cause it gets so hot and stifling in our house.To make matters worse, we have bad insulation, so the
heat comes right through the walls.I save money elsewhere by being more conservative on food
and other expenses. We watch free movies online
instead of having cable.And, I cut corners during the fall and spring by
not running the AC or heater. And, instead use fans
throughout the house.It's so nice in our area during those times and rarely cold.
During those times, our electric bill goes down to $85.So it evens out to less than $100 monthly year round.
I'm still looking for ways to cut costs on electricity.Do you have any money saving suggestions for cutting the
